Senior Associate, Creative Art Director
What you’ll do:
Concept, design, and execute high-impact creative across digital, site, social, events, brand activations, and campaign toolkits in support of key business objectives.
Bridge creative strategy with design execution by leveraging evidence, audience insights, and business goals to make strategic creative choices that cut through the noise.
Serve as a subject matter expert for brand standards, championing the brand, advocating for good taste, and driving visual consistency across all work.
Own design projects end-to-end from initial white-space ideas through final delivery for high-visibility campaigns with an appropriate degree of autonomy.
Proactively identify opportunities, develop smart solutions, and bring fresh ideas that raise the creative bar and push mindsets.
Stay ahead of modern design, digital, and consumer trends, letting them naturally inform and elevate your work.
Manage multiple deadlines simultaneously to deliver polished, high-quality, and error-free work on time, every time.
Collaborate closely with immediate team members and line of business partners, thoughtfully incorporating feedback and asking the right questions to gain clarity when needed.

Basic Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
Experience at an agency or large in-house creative team
Experience working with a Fortune 100 brand
5+ years of experience working across multiple creative mediums
Creative portfolio that includes a range of in-market work

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $96,500 - $110,100 for Sr. Associate, Art DirectorRichmond, VA: $87,700 - $100,100 for Sr. Associate, Art Director
New York, NY: $105,300 - $120,100 for Sr. Associate, Art Director
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
