JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Senior Associate within the Central America & Caribbean (CAC) Payments Sales team, you will support the growth of JPMorganChase's Payments franchise across more than 20 markets. You will work closely with senior sales professionals, bankers, product partners, and implementation teams to develop treasury and payments solutions for multinational corporations, regional headquarters (RHQs), local headquarters (LHQs), and leading domestic companies. This role offers significant client exposure, regional travel, and hands-on participation across the full sales lifecycle, from opportunity identification and solution design through implementation and revenue realization.

Job Responsibilities

Origination & Client Coverage

• You will partner with Payments Sales Managers to identify, originate, and execute treasury and payments opportunities across Central America and the Caribbean, supporting strategic coverage of multinational corporations, RHQs, LHQs, and key domestic clients.
• You will develop a strong understanding of clients' treasury, cash management, liquidity, and working capital objectives.
• You will participate in client meetings, treasury discussions, industry events, and executive engagements across the region, traveling throughout the CAC region to support client engagements and franchise-building efforts.

Analysis & Business Development

• You will prepare client presentations, pitch materials, account plans, relationship reviews, and industry research to support business development initiatives.
• You will assist in the preparation of pricing analyses, profitability models, revenue opportunities, and commercial recommendations.
• You will monitor industry trends, competitive developments, and market dynamics to identify growth opportunities.

Execution & Cross-Functional Delivery

• You will work closely with Banking, Product, Service, Client Implementation, and Operations teams to deliver comprehensive client solutions and support onboarding for seamless client experiences and revenue realization.
• You will help manage regional pipelines and strategic initiatives to ensure timely execution and commercialization of opportunities.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, International Business, or related fields.
• 5+ years of experience in Payments, Treasury Services, Corporate Banking, Transaction Banking, Treasury, Cash Management, or related financial services disciplines.
• Strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and help drive business growth.
• Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and senior internal stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluent English and Spanish required.
• Willingness and ability to travel across the Central America & Caribbean region.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills.

• Previous experience supporting sales, relationship management, or client coverage teams.
• Knowledge of payments, liquidity management, receivables, payables, FX, virtual accounts, APIs, and treasury solutions.
• Experience working with multinational corporations, treasury centers, shared service centers (SSCs), regional headquarters, or large domestic corporates.
• Understanding of cross-border treasury and cash management structures.
• Proven ability to build strong partnerships across multiple functions and geographies.
• Demonstrated ownership, curiosity, and a growth mindset, with interest in developing into a future Payments Sales Officer or other client-facing leadership role within the firm.
