What this job involves

We're seeking a detail-oriented Analyst to join our Competitive Intelligence & Location Strategy team. In this role, you will support research, analysis, and client engagement activities that help organizations make informed, data-driven real estate and workforce decisions. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, conducting market and company research, and contributing to strategic client deliverables in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

*This position is fully onsite in our New York, NY office.

Research & Analysis
  • Collect, clean, and analyze data from a range of sources to support competitive intelligence and location strategy engagements.
  • Conduct research on markets, companies, and locations, and translate findings into clear, client-ready insights.
  • Build and refine PowerPoint materials for pitches and executive-level client presentations.
  • Support the team's consulting studies on the relationship between real estate, competitive positioning, and business performance.

Client & Business Development
  • Prepare materials for client meetings and calls and join those conversations as you build client-facing experience.
  • Contribute to pitch materials and proposals for prospective clients, working alongside senior team members.
  • Help maintain accurate, up-to-date research files and data trackers that the team relies on.

Required
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Aptitude for research and sales, and a desire to learn new skills.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with hands-on experience in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to understand, organize, and manipulate data from multiple sources.
  • Strong research skills and genuine curiosity about markets and companies.
  • Experience or aptitude preparing presentation materials in PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to interact directly with clients.
  • A creative, resourceful approach to problem-solving - you look for solutions, not just answers.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks.

Preferred
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in a research, analytics, or data-focused role.
  • Military experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools or programming languages (for example, Python, R, or Tableau).

Estimated compensation for this position:

75,000.00 - 90,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
