Full Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY: The Sr. Architectural Project Manager serves as the Owner's Representative for affordable multi-family housing developments, ensuring projects align with Dominium's vision, budget, schedule, quality standards, and overall development goals. This role acts as the primary liaison between Dominium and key project stakeholders, including architects, contractors, consultants, and governmental agencies, while overseeing project coordination, design review, regulatory compliance, and project execution throughout all phases of development. The position requires a strong combination of architectural expertise, project management skills, and a deep understanding of affordable housing development processes and standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Oversees architectural design activities to ensure alignment with project goals, affordable housing standards, sustainability initiatives, and owner expectations.
  2. Reviews and approves design documents, drawings, specifications, and project deliverables for quality, accuracy, and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  3. Manages project budgets, forecasts, and financial planning activities to ensure projects remain within approved financial parameters while maintaining quality expectations.
  4. Monitors project schedules, milestones, and deliverables, coordinating with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to support timely project completion.
  5. Serves as the primary point of contact between ownership, architects, contractors, consultants, and government agencies throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
  6. Facilitates communication, coordination, and problem-solving among project stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives, timelines, and responsibilities.
  7. Ensures compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, including zoning requirements, building codes, permitting requirements, and affordable housing guidelines.
  8. Manages permitting and entitlement processes, including preparation, submission, and coordination of applications with governmental agencies and regulatory authorities.
  9. Attends project design meetings, owner-architect-contractor (OAC) meetings, and site visits to monitor project progress, document quality, and adherence to established standards.
  10. Identifies and mitigate project risks related to budget, schedule, quality, safety, and regulatory compliance while implementing effective resolution strategies.
  11. Resolves project conflicts, issues, and disputes in a timely and professional manner while protecting the owner's interests and maintaining positive stakeholder relationships.
  12. Reviews project documentation at designated stages to ensure consistency with company standards, industry best practices, and safety requirements.
