Full Job Description
Arup's Toronto Architecture team is seeking an experienced Senior Architect to join our growing Transit and Infrastructure practice. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the design and delivery of major public infrastructure projects, including transit stations, transportation facilities, and complex retrofit programs that improve mobility and enhance communities.

As a key member of our multidisciplinary project teams, you will work closely with structural, mechanical, electrical, and civil disciplines to develop integrated design solutions from concept through construction. You will play an important role in coordinating project delivery, mentoring team members, and ensuring high-quality technical outcomes.

This position is ideal for an architect who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, collaborating across disciplines, and delivering projects that have a lasting impact on cities and communities.

We're looking for a talented and motivated architect with:
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
  • 10 years of professional experience in architectural design and project delivery.
  • Experience delivering major transit, transportation, infrastructure, retrofit, or public-sector projects.
  • Strong experience in exterior and interior detailing.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating multidisciplinary design teams.
  • Experience on transit, transportation, infrastructure, or public-sector projects is considered an asset.
  • Experience delivering retrofit and rehabilitation projects is considered an asset.
  • Experience developing technical specifications and construction documentation.
  • Experience supporting production and construction administration phases.
  • Working knowledge of applicable building codes, accessibility requirements, and industry standards..
  • Experience as job captain equivalent
  • Registered Architect (OAA).
  • You must submit a Portfolio to be considered for this position
  • Candidate must be eligible to work in Canada without the need for employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future
  • Autodesk Revit are Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) are required
  • Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam studio, and Adobe Creative Suite are an asset

Toronto Hiring Range - The good faith base salary hiring range for this job if performed in Toronto is $120,000 to $140,000 per year. This range is commensurate with experience, educational background, and skill level. Benefits are not included in the base salary. Please note hiring ranges for candidates performing work outside of Toronto will differ.
