Full Job Description
As a Senior Architect/Engineer, you will be the senior technical lead responsible for construction management oversight of the Chiller Plant System and Chilled and Condenser Water System Repair/Replace at the Miami VA Medical Center. You will ensure project delivery meets quality, cost, and schedule objectives while serving as a subject matter expert to government stakeholders on all aspects of design and construction.

This position is contingent upon the award of the contract, and the contract duration is one year with three option years.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead construction oversight, inspection, and quality assurance activities

Qualifications to be successful in the role:
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management or 14 years of directly related experience in lieu of bachelor's degree
  • Licensed Architect or Engineer in the State of Florida
  • Minimum 10 years of experience managing large-scale construction projects
  • Experience with chiller utility plants in federal or healthcare facilities preferred
  • Strong knowledge of construction documents, scheduling, and cost management
  • Demonstrated knowledge of VA standards, FAR, NFPA, and OSHA requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
