Duke Health Facilities is seeking a Senior Application Manager with strong enterprise application and database expertise to manage and evolve Duke Health's enterprise access control application environment, currently centered on the Pro Watch system, and positioned to expand to additional access and security management technologies.

This role serves as the technical lead and subject matter expert for access control applications supporting badging, reporting, alarm monitoring, and role-based access across Duke Health facilities. The position will report to the Director, Information Technology.

Work Arrangement - On-Site

DEPARTMENTAL PREFERENCES

  • Application support certification (ProWatch, Microsoft SQL); Database administrator strongly preferred.
  • Six to eight years of experience preferred.
  • Experience serving as a technical lead or subject matter expert.
  • Strong database, system design, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education - Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent experience.

Experience - Minimum 4 years of enterprise application support experience.

  • Identify, resolve, and prevent access conflicts, redundancies, and data integrity issues.

  • Partner with Facilities, Security, IT, HR, and other stakeholders on access governance and automation.
  • Support system enhancements, integrations, and evaluation of emerging access control technologies.
  • Provide technical leadership and supervise assigned staff.
