Full Job Description
This Work from Home position requires that you live and will perform the duties of the position; within 60 miles of an HCA Healthcare Hospital (Our hospitals are located in the following states: FL, GA, ID, KS, KY, MO, NV, NH, NC, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA).

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Senior Application Developer will analyze, design, and implement complex database and web applications to support Parallon Development solutions. The developer should have the ability to review requirements and craft technical design documentation that allows for future scalability, interoperability, and reduced maintenance. The developer should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to establish effective working relationships and manage multiple priorities. The developer must demonstrate a clear history of technical growth and positively inspiring teams towards their goals. This role will perform any technical project assignments with minimal supervision. This role is responsible for documenting coding standards, provide code review and feedback to team members to ensure development best practices. The developer must be able to identify, investigate, evaluate and become proficient in new technologies and technical disciplines that are of significance to Parallon.

In this role you will:

  • Design, develop, test, and support internal Parallon web applications from concept through deployment.
  • Manage software design and development to meet operational and business requirements.
  • Perform system analysis, design, development, and support for Microsoft SQL Server environments across Production, QA, and Development.
  • Develop high-quality, maintainable, and well-factored code following established development standards.
  • Create and maintain integration, unit, and UI automation tests to ensure application quality.
  • Create and maintain technical and application documentation in Confluence.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects, Product Analysts, and operational teams to gather requirements and deliver business solutions.
  • Utilize version control tools, including GitHub, to manage source code and deployments.
  • Lead technical meetings, document outcomes, action items, and next steps, and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Mentor and advise team members in specialized technical areas and promote knowledge sharing.
  • Support organizational objectives by adhering to CSO thematic goals and IT best practices.
  • Provide third-level application support, troubleshoot complex issues, and coordinate resolutions with internal and external teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, operational teams, and technology partners.
  • Follow Change Management policies by creating, executing, and documenting production change requests.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and respond to production incidents as required.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements to enhance application reliability, efficiency, and maintainability.
  • Ensure systems are designed with reliability in mind by applying unit testing, continuous integration, automated testing, and system monitoring practices.
  • Adhere to technical, database, and web development standards throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Continuously expand technical expertise through mentoring, professional development, and ongoing learning opportunities.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.


What qualifications you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree Required or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience as full stack .NET developer
  • 3+ years of Cloud Technologies experience
  • Microsoft Certified, preferred
