OverviewCapgemini is seeking a senior SAP IS-U Device Management Consultant with extensive SAP Utilities experience and strong SAP S/4HANA knowledge. The consultant will lead functional design, fit-gap analysis, solution configuration, and support utility business processes related to Device Management, Installations, and Meter Reading.
Key Responsibilities - Lead functional consulting activities for SAP IS-U Device Management (DM).
- Analyze business requirements and perform fit-gap assessments.
- Configure and support SAP IS-U processes related to:
- Device Management
- Meter Installations
- Meter Replacements
- Meter Reading
- Technical Master Data
- Create Functional Specifications for custom developments, enhancements, interfaces, and reports.
- Work closely with ABAP and technical teams by providing detailed functional requirements and supporting technical design discussions.
- Review business and solution design documents and produce definition/design documentation.
- Support testing activities including SIT, UAT, and defect resolution.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Must-have Skills - 10+ years of SAP experience with a focus on SAP IS-U Device Management.
- Strong SAP S/4HANA Utilities experience.
- Deep expertise in:
- SAP IS-U Device Management (DM)
- Installations
- Meter Reading
- Utility business processes
- Strong experience performing fit-gap analysis and solution design.
- Proven experience writing Functional Specifications for custom developments.
- Strong understanding of SAP tables, fields, and data relationships.
- Experience supporting technical teams during development and testing.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills - SAP IS-U Invoicing.
- SAP IS-U Customer Service (CS).
- Knowledge of SAP FI, SD, and MM modules and their integration points.
- SAP ABAP knowledge.
- Debugging experience and ability to analyze technical issues.
Work Environment - Location: Calgary or Mississauga, Hybrid
- Work Arrangement: Consultant must be available to work onsite a minimum of three (3) days per week at either the client location or a Capgemini office. The role requires regular interaction with business stakeholders, project teams, and client leadership.
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is : $76,336 - $179,088 CAD.
Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.
The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
