Full Job Description

Summary:

In this role, you will transform complex financial data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making across Vizient's Spend Management BU. You will partner with sales, finance, and operational clients to advance business intelligence capabilities, improve data quality, and enable performance management through scalable reporting and analytics. You will modernize reporting through automation and Power BI solutions while supporting emerging AI-enabled analytics within CNAF and Member Value reporting.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Spend Management, Finance, and cross-functional clients to support sales planning, territory design, and performance management initiatives.
  • Provide financial and operational analysis of GAF and CNAF to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic decision-making.
  • Lead recurring business reviews by delivering executive-ready insights on performance drivers, trends, and risks.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions to improve data accessibility and visibility.
  • Drive automation and scalability of reporting processes by converting manual activities into efficient, repeatable solutions.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of data through validation, anomaly detection, and root cause analysis.
  • Identify and resolve data gaps, reporting issues, and upstream data inconsistencies in collaboration with internal and external clients.
  • Support the standardization and enhancement of Member Value reporting methodologies, tracking, and transparency.
  • Integrate automation and AI-enabled insights to improve reporting efficiency and strengthen business understanding.
  • Communicate insights and recommendations that help stakeholders understand performance drivers and take informed action.


Qualifications:
  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • 5 or more years of relevant experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Analytics, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.
  • Strong ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and communicate findings to business stakeholders.
  • Experience building automated dashboards and scalable reporting solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in data validation, anomaly detection, and root cause analysis.
  • Experience working with sales, revenue, or financial data.
  • Familiarity with AI tools, automation, or advanced analytics techniques preferred.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.


Estimated Hiring Range:
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $68,500.00 to $116,300.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
