What will you work on?

This Sr. Analyst, Toy FP&A position will report to the Director, Toy FP&A. You will be a key financial partner for our Global Toy team, providing the analytical tools and insights needed to measure toy line profitability. Your work will directly support the development of winning brand strategies and business plans. You will produce high-quality financial plans (Budgets/Forecasts) and actionable insights that drive profitable growth for our iconic toy brands and global markets.

As a master of our full Toy P&L, you will ensure accurate data forms the foundation of our planning. You will be responsible for establishing, maintaining, and analyzing financial models for our exciting portfolio of Global Toy Brands and international markets.

How will you create impact?
  • Be the financial co-pilot for our Toy Creative Center
  • Own Toy SG&A planning, and management and develop partnership with Brand Finance, Accounting, Finance Reporting, and various Toy leaders
  • Develop insightful presentations that translate complex data into clear, actionable stories for the executive team
  • Assist in analyzing and reporting monthly profitability results, helping the team understand what's driving performance
  • Consolidate the Toy Line Plan (TLP) and provide deep financial insights and analytics for our annual budget, quarterly forecasts and latest estimates
  • Support Spin Master's ERP implementation by performing system testing, creating process documentation in the new system, and assisting in other project deliverables
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, tools, workflows and adopt best practices
  • Perform analysis and other ad-hoc projects to support the Toy team


What are your skills and experience?
  • A post-secondary degree in business, economics, commerce, or a related field
  • Knowledge of and experience with ERP and Planning Software mandatory (SAP, SAP BPC, Anaplan preferred)
  • Minimum of 3-5+ years' experience in public company setting or public accounting firm
  • Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and data automation. Experience with Power BI and dashboard creation is also considered an asset

The anticipated pay range for candidates who will work in Ontario is $82,000 to $95,000 Per Annum. The offered pay to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, etc. Spin Master Inc. is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work only in other states.
