--What will your typical day look like?As a Senior Analyst in SR&ED at Deloitte, your day is dynamic and impactful. You'll develop core skills in preparing SR&ED tax credit claims, guided by experienced mentors. As your expertise grows, you'll take on responsibilities like project scoping, client interviews, audit defense, and supporting sales within government incentives. You'll build strong client relationships, offering comprehensive tax solutions, and handle complex projects that position you as a trusted advisor. About the teamGi3: Global Investment and Innovation Incentives.
Deloitte's Gi3 team is the leading innovation incentives provider both in Canada and globally. We help companies become more competitive by advising them on financial strategies to drive innovation, scale their business, and to combat climate change. Deloitte's Gi3 team supports companies in accessing entitlement incentive programs such as SR&ED, Federal and Provincial merit-based / direct funding programs and the recently announced Clean Economy ITCs.
Enough about us, let's talk about youYou are someone with:
- At least 2 years of experience in industry in an operations, consulting, or project management role. Direct experience with projects in technology, media, telecom, software, hardware, semiconductors, circuit design, devices, or electrical engineering is an asset.
- A university degree in engineering or a bachelor's degree in science relevant to technology, media, telecom, software, hardware, semiconductors, circuit design, devices, or electrical engineering, with a minimum of 2 years' specific experience preparing SR&ED tax credit claims.
- Deep curiosity and the ability to learn, synthesize, and describe complex technical subjects, including reading and interpreting legislative tax rules.
- Ability to understand technical data, explain it clearly, and highlight key items.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills-able to communicate quickly, persuasively, and concisely.
- Ability to work independently within a high-performance team environment.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Interest in business and industrial processes.
Total RewardsThe salary range for this position is $68,000 - $102,000 and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
