Position Summary...

What you'll do...

Role summary:

The Senior Analyst, Supply Chain Management, plays a critical role in supporting Walmart's refrigerated inbound transportation network through real-time operational execution, transportation planning, exception management, and continuous improvement. This position serves as a key decision-maker responsible for resolving transportation issues, recovering at-risk freight, optimizing load execution, and supporting service to Grocery Distribution Centers. The role provides critical weekend operational coverage for the network and combines operational judgment, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to improve service, cost, inventory flow, and product quality while supporting strategic supply chain objectives.

What you'll do:

Provide critical weekend operational coverage, ensuring freight continues to move safely and efficiently

Monitor and resolve transportation exceptions, utilizing operational tools, ticket management systems, and cross functional partnerships to minimize service

disruptions

Make operational decisions regarding carrier assignment, load routing,

scheduling adjustments, load optimization, recovery actions, and transportation execution.

Coordinate with carriers, suppliers, DCs, replenishment teams, and internal stakeholders to recover at-risk freight and remove barriers impacting product flow

Analyze trends to identify root causes, improve execution, and prevent recurring

issues

Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service,

reduce waste, lower cost, and improve overall performance.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience identifying

root causes and implementing effective solutions

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paste environment and adapt to

changing business needs

Experience collaborating across transportation, supply chain, operations,

suppliers, carriers, and other business partners

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience using data and operational metrics to improve performance and

driven results

The annual salary range for this position is $60,000.00 - $110,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
