Title: Senior Analyst, Sales Planning & Operations

Location: Port Chester, NY / Hybrid

Compensation: $115,000 - $125,000 annually

THE POSITION: Senior Analyst, Sales Planning & Operations

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Sr. Analyst, Sales Planning & Operations to join our team. In this role, you will report directly to the Director of Sales Strategy & Operations and partner with sales leadership, operations, analytics and finance to drive data-informed decision-making, optimize sales performance, and support strategic planning initiatives. This individual contributor role is responsible for leading critical sales planning, budgeting and forecasting, compensation and incentive planning and field accountability to ensure our sales team operates efficiently and effectively.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Business Planning & Reporting

  • Partner with Analytics team to scope and develop dashboards and tools to increase visibility into business performance and productivity for Field organization
  • Provide accurate and timely weekly, monthly and ad hoc reporting on sales performance, including attainment and incentive outcomes, leveraging AI tools
  • Build light-weight reports/data pulls to be used by Field Leadership or to support key sales processes
  • Lead annual and quarterly sales planning cycles, including setting goals for key performance indicators (KPIs) for the sales organization and tracking against them
  • Drive accountability with the field team, equipping them with tools and insights to ensure success and consistency across achieving sales goals

Workforce and Compensation Planning & Execution

  • Own monthly/quarterly incentive compensation processes, including calculation, validation, and communication of payouts, leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency and accuracy
  • Partner with Sales, Finance, and Revenue leadership to evaluate, design and execute compensation plans that drive performance and align with company goals.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and controls related to compensation and reporting.
  • Drive sales workforce planning, aligning staffing, coverage, and capacity with business goals and sales forecasts.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Compensation, Finance, Business Analytics or related analytical role.
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets and data analysis skills.
  • Experience with building Looker visualizations or other comparable data visualization platforms.
  • Experience with AI tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT and Claude.
  • Familiarity with SQL a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail, focus on zero-defect work.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to pull out and communicate insights to leadership from complex data sets.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
