Headquartered in Montreal, Fednav Holdings Inc. is a single-family office. Our team is responsible for making investments across various asset classes including fixed income, public and private equity, real estate, infrastructure, and absolute return strategies. We are building a fast-moving, evolving investment organization and are looking for a Senior Analyst, Private Equity & Credit to play a meaningful role in the diligence of new investments and in the ongoing management of our private equity and credit portfolios. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING | THE ROLE Key responsibilities include: Investment Analysis - Lead due diligence on new investment opportunities across various markets with a primary focus on private equity and credit. - Develop a variety of investment-related models (valuation, sensitivities, scenarios) to support investment recommendations. - Prepare investment memos, portfolio updates, sector research, and deep dives on investment themes. - Stay current on market developments, industry trends, valuation dynamics, financing conditions, credit spreads, and key themes in private markets. - Perform ad hoc analyses and special projects as needed in a fast-paced environment. Portfolio Management: - Monitor existing investments, including performance, valuation changes, capital activity, projected cash flows, and key portfolio company developments. - Maintain a structured, multi-source deal pipeline and opportunity set, ensuring high data integrity and timely updates. - Support relationship management with external managers, advisors, and service providers, and track follow-ups and deliverables. - Coordinate with internal teams (legal, tax, finance/accounting) as required. WHAT YOU BRING | THE PERSON The ideal candidate has: - Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, engineering, computer science, or a related quantitative field. - Professional designation (CFA, CPA, CAIA, CBV) in progress or completed. - Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in private equity, credit, investment banking, transaction advisory, consulting, asset management, or a similar investment-focused environment. - Strong analytical skills with demonstrated proficiency in financial modeling, credit analysis, and investment recommendation preparation. - Diplomatic and tactful, with strong written and verbal communication skills. - High ethical standards and a collaborative approach. - Mature, proactive, and a self-starter that takes ownership and anticipates next steps. - Good organizational skills. - Committed, motivated, and able to work in a constantly changing environment. - Bilingual (French and English).
