Scope of Position

 

Manages aiding the overall financial needs and processes of the project. Oversees compliance with company standards and best practices. Compile and analyze data pertaining to the measuring, tracking, and forecasting of project and group health and goals. the development of training programs orinitiatives and receives training in company management tools, standards, policies, and procedures.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Supervise and guide financial analysts and coordinators
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to prepare standard financial deliverables for review and approvalusing multiple systems.
  • Demonstrates full knowledge of the financial management systems.
  • Monitor financial health by creating, reviewing, updating, and tracking cash flow, changemanagement items, budgets, revenue, costs, and forecasts, across multiple systems.
  • Assist in the development of strategies for financial corrective action.
  • Maintains the setup, reconciliation, and maintenance of budgets.
  • Competent in contract terms and conditions and able to communicate and coordinate theimpacts on the financials including payment terms, retainage, tax, and lien law
  • Manage project and group accounting processes (AP & AR).
  • Manage and provide specific project or group assistance in administration, coordination, andcompliance of necessary requirements and programs.
  • Assess financial needs of the project(s) and develop plan.
  • Oversees financial reporting requirements as necessary.
  • Conducts audits as required to ensure compliance and determine status of health.
  • Ability to utilize forecasting methods and able to assist in financial forecasting as required.
  • Ability to train teams in financial related processes and procedures.
  • Document financial changes using appropriate systems and forms to drive consistency andensure compliance.
  • Travel as required.
  • Other duties which may be assigned as needed.

Education & Years of Experience

  • Bachelors degree in business administration, Accounting or Construction Management and 8 yearsexperience, or 12 plus years experience in lieu of degree.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a commercial contracting environment preferred.
  • Understanding cost and schedule development and controls preferred.
  • Solid analytical ability with excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Knowledge of business intelligence tools such as Microsoft Power BI.
  • Knowledge of ERP/Project Management platforms in general; experience using Procore, EcoSys and
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud preferred.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

 

While performing the duties of this job, team members may be required to visit alternate locations and

therefore, must have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to do so. This position requires the ability to stand,

walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds.

Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand, and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual

acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information. The team member is

frequently required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
