Responsibilities

  • Aggregate and analyze data as requested by stakeholders and project teams.
  • Collaborate with third-party delivery providers to enhance reporting and analytical processes.
  • Partner with digital, operations, and marketing teams in developing materials for business reviews and facilitate discussions.
  • Foster improved data literacy and provide coaching on data analysis tools to internal stakeholders.

About the Role:

We have an exciting opportunity to support our Analytics & Strategy team as a Senior Analyst, Digital Initiatives based in NLD. The Senior Analyst, Digital Initiatives supports the team with new global Digital Initiatives (e.g. the roll out of Kiosks in UK, Germany, Australia, US...), as well as regional digital channels (e.g. Delivery performance in EMEA). Your role will partner both the Global Digital Team (based in London and Miami) and Regional implementation teams (digital marketing, digital operations), and you will be responsible for ensuring these functions and their senior stakeholders have high quality, robust data to make decisions, as well as plan and execute strategy.

The role is focused on transactional level data (e.g. point of sales data, basket analysis), not digital analytics (e.g. customer journey data, app user tracking).

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Advises on the set up of digital initiatives trials, assesses the success of tests and presents compelling recommendations
  • Support the overall success metrics of the Digital function across our priority EMEA markets, through ongoing performance tracking and deep-dive analysis of key business initiatives. Including creating/improving reports
  • Interprets data to identify business trends, conducts root cause analysis of business problems, or suggests areas for process improvement.
  • Aggregates and performs analysis on a wide range of data, based on requests from key stakeholders and wider project teams.
  • Works closely with all major regional third-party delivery providers (Just Eat, Uber Eats, Deliveroo etc.) to source new data, enhance reporting and develop analytical processes, to optimise performance through these growth channels
  • Business partner to the digital, operations and marketing teams, assisting with the scoping and development of material for quarterly/annual business reviews, and contributes directly within the sessions themselves through presenting and knowledge sharing
  • Drives improved data literacy and self-service reporting across the business by providing guidance and coaching on data analysis tools and software to internal customers
  • Data quality control: identify any issues with data integrity and proactively work with the relevant internal teams to suggest and implement a fix


Qualifications (some examples listed below):
  • Bachelors Degree required in Economics, Math, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years' experience in data management and analytics, using data insights to drive business recommendations.
  • Technical Proficiencies: Excel; Powerpoint
  • Needs to be familiar with data visualisation tools such as Tableau or PowerBI
  • Proficiency using SQL to query relational databases and transactional data is desirable but not required.
  • Experienced in stakeholder management, strong ability to self organise and work independently with minimal need for supervision.
  • Strong communicator and influencing skills with proven track-record of driving through winning recommendations
  • Ability to explain/present complicated/advanced analytical methodology and results to non-technical audiences.
  • Able to multi-task, prioritize workload and comfortable working within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of how analytics impacts overall business performance
  • Interpersonal, relationship-building and networking skills with a self-motivated attitude to work.
  • Language requirements: Fluent in English - German a plus.
