JOB TITLE
Senior Analyst - Development and Investment

POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Analyst of Development and Investment will support Atlas in evaluating, structuring, executing, and monitoring ASC investment and strategic growth initiatives, including new ASC development, acquisitions, joint ventures, partnerships, and related investment initiatives. Mastery of financial analysis, investment modeling, and M&A modeling is essential given the complexity of the financing structures, ownership arrangements, and investment structures used across the portfolio. In addition to supporting transaction execution, this role will assist with operating center analytics post transaction, investment and portfolio performance assessment, and forecasting for both current and future ASCs. The Senior Analyst will partner closely with Development, Operations, Finance, FP&A, Accounting, physicians, joint venture partners, lenders, advisors, and senior leadership to deliver data-driven insights that support investment decisions, operational improvement, portfolio management, and long-term strategic growth. This position will collaborate with a highly motivated team and will be expected to successfully manage simultaneous work streams, develop clear and accurate analyses, and effectively communicate analysis results to team and senior executives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Build and maintain financial models for ASC development, acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic investments, including operating projections, returns analyses, sensitivities, and physician economics.
• Analyze complex financing, capitalization, ownership, and distribution structures and evaluate their impact on investment returns and stakeholder economics.
• Analyze the financial and operational impact of potential transactions, including revenue and cost synergies, cash flow implications, capital requirements, and key value drivers.
• Support execution across the full development lifecycle, including opportunity evaluation, financial and operational due diligence, transaction structuring, and closing activities.
• Evaluate new development, acquisition, and partnership opportunities and support valuation, diligence, transaction structuring, forecasting, and presentation materials.
• Participate in diligence meetings and management presentations health system partner leadership meetings.
• Support analytical and strategic projects, including tracking active and closed transactions, improving internal deal management tools, strengthening reporting processes, and enhancing decision-support capabilities.
• Utilize advanced analytical and modeling techniques to identify financial trends and opportunities.
• Demonstrate ownership, curiosity, and attention to detail, proactively identifying ways to improve analyses, processes, and team effectiveness while taking on increased responsibility over time.
• Prepare concise analyses, reporting, and recommendations for senior leadership.
• Work cross-functionally with Development, Operations, Finance, Accounting, Legal, physicians, investment banks, and other external advisors to advance investment and development initiatives.

Performs all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience. 4-5 years of experience in M&A corporate development, investment banking, consulting, or related field.
• Proven understanding of financial statements, accounting fundamentals, and valuation methodologies.
• Proven analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
• Proven clear and effective written and verbal communication, including presentation to senior stakeholders
• Proven motivation and adaptability, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with strong working knowledge of PowerPoint and Word

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Additional education is preferred. Healthcare experience is strongly preferred.
