Position Overview

Peachtree Group is seeking a highly motivated Senior Analyst to join our growing Debt Capital Markets team in Austin, Texas. This individual will play a critical role in supporting the origination, underwriting, structuring, execution, and portfolio management of commercial real estate debt transactions. The ideal candidate possesses strong financial modeling skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a passion for commercial real estate finance.

This role offers exposure to institutional-quality transactions across a variety of asset classes with significant opportunities for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and underwrite commercial real estate debt opportunities across multiple asset classes, including hospitality, multifamily, industrial, office, retail, and mixed-use.
  • Build and maintain sophisticated financial models to evaluate loan structures, borrower cash flow, collateral performance, and investment returns.
  • Prepare detailed underwriting memorandums and investment committee presentations.
  • Perform market research, property-level analysis, and borrower due diligence.
  • Analyze historical operating statements, rent rolls, STR reports, and property cash flows.
  • Assist in structuring senior debt, mezzanine debt, bridge loans, and other CRE financing solutions.
  • Coordinate due diligence with borrowers, legal counsel, third-party vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Review appraisals, engineering reports, environmental reports, and title documentation.
  • Monitor existing loan portfolio performance and assist with ongoing asset management initiatives.
  • Support loan closings and funding processes alongside legal, closing, and servicing teams.
  • Track market trends, interest rates, and capital markets activity to support strategic lending decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with Originations, Credit, Portfolio Management, Asset Management, and Executive Leadership.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 3-6 years of experience in commercial real estate lending, debt capital markets, investment banking, underwriting, or credit analysis.
  • Strong understanding of commercial real estate finance and capital markets.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with experience building complex financial models.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and accountability.
  • Experience reviewing loan documents and performing due diligence is preferred.
