Full Job Description
Location: USA - Iselin, Wood Ave Division: Group Time Type: Full Time Summary The Senior Analyst, Customs Compliance is responsible for ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies within the transportation and logistics industry. They develop and implement compliance programs, monitor compliance activities, and provide guidance to mitigate risks. The Senior Analyst also plays a critical role in maintaining a strong ethical culture and promoting regulatory compliance throughout the organization. PLEASE NOTE: This is an in-office position, located in the Metropark Train Station area in Iselin NJ. Thank you. Responsibilities: Responsible for outlining processes and documentation for support Oversees the day-to-day operational supporting CargoWise reports and ACE portal support Maintains and manages customer service requests by internal stakeholders Provides production applications support as needed Manages and monitors existing functionalities and define new functionality as needed for application integrity and optimization Interfaces with internal and external technical staff and stakeholders to define application solutions, problem resolution and troubleshooting. Support and generate reports for management informed decisions Support brokerage business through CargoWise application Supports business/sales organization during tender/RFQ process related to customer integration from a business perspective First point of contact for local business, sales organization when an integration and/or adjustment is requested Responsible for technical documentation of system components and processes Defines and create test scenarios for messages related to the integration request, inbound & outbound Perform User Acceptance Tests (UAT) within agreed timeline Acts as the first point of contact for business after Go-live, monitor, troubleshoot and create incident for any issue during hyper-care phase. Strong understanding of Brokerage Experience with SQL, ERP, databases Understanding of 3rd party logistics, transportation systems, and/or warehouse management is preferred Knowledge of leading industry technologies with a strong knowledge around IT governance, project planning, and the technological usage/alternatives available in a multi-platform environment Thorough understanding of XML and EDI is highly beneficial General understanding of the SCM including and not limited to: Forwarding, US Customs, MQ, AMS, ABI, ACH, Drawback, Declarations, Commercial Invoicing, Manifests, Bookings, Purchase Orders, HTS, ISF General understanding of Export is a plus PC literacy with a command of MS Office to include Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Teams, etc. Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university Minimum 1 to 2 years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience For this position, the expected base pay is: $86,500 - $129,500 / Annual. Actual base compensation will be determined based on various factors including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, geographic location and other objective business considerations.
