What you'll do: - Review initial claim reports to assess compensability and identify potential fraud indicators for escalation.
- Manage complex workers' compensation and general liability claims, focusing on litigation and high-risk cases.
- Collaborate with leadership and counsel to establish claim value, strategy, and resolution paths.
- Oversee outside counsel to monitor litigation progress and ensure timely resolution.
- Prepare and present claims in reviews to refine strategy and secure settlement authority.
- Authorize payments and coordinate medical treatments while ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Negotiate settlements directly with claimants or their representatives.
- Mentor associates on complex claims handling and litigation processes.
What you'll bring: - Extensive experience in managing complex workers' compensation and general liability claims, including litigation oversight.
- Proficiency in litigation management, claims resolution, negotiation strategies, and legal discovery processes.
- Ability to review and analyze claim reports to determine compensability and identify potential fraud indicators.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal leadership, outside counsel, and claimants effectively.
- Expertise in establishing reserves, adjudicating claims within authority limits, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrated capability to mentor associates and support continuous improvement initiatives.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Option 2: 4 years' experience in claims handling, including experience with complex or litigated workers' compensation or general liability claims.
Current or prior (within last 3 years) Property & Casualty Adjuster License.
