Job Description
TheSeniorAnalyst, Business Intelligence willempower team members across Horizon Next with increased access to the data. They will ensure both technical and non-technical team members have access to the data they need to inform their decision-making processes. TheSeniorAnalystcontribute to the BI team goal ofcreating data products and solutions that scale across our portfolio of clients.
Develop andenhancethedata and analytics capabilitiesof Horizon Next 670%
- Lead and own data modeling and reporting efforts for individual clients toensure internal and client teams have the data they need to plan and optimize their media campaigns
- Partner with senior BI team members oncross-clientdata modeling and reporting efforts tomake data as accessible as possible throughout Horizon Next
- Bring together disparate data sources by building data models that can be used by both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Create and maintain automated data tests to ensure high data quality across all data models
- Collaborate with Data Engineering team members to bring new data sources into our data warehouse and add them into new data models
- Build and prototype new data products that can increase the BI team27s offerings and capabilities
- Build data visualizations and dashboards to surface trends and insights to business teams and clients
- Mentor and level up the skills of your teammates through collaboration and by sharing your expertise
Drive education and adoption of data products across teams 30%
- Act as a liaison between theHorizon NextAnalyticsteamandotherinternalteams on matters related to data sources, data access, and reporting availability
- Educate non-technical team members on our data products and how best to use data to inform their decision-making process
- Work with Horizon Next clients to understand their data and create meaningful KPIs for media campaigns
- You haveexperience inthe media, advertising, or direct-response industries
- You have a background in data or analytics but are more interested in building processes, automation, and tooling than providing insights and recommendations
- You have a history of automating and improving processes to reduce time spent on manual work
- You have a strong background in SQLand some experience with Python in a work environment
- You have a proven history of working effectively with both business andengineering/technicalteams
- Undergraduate degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or comparable experience
- 2-4years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or a similar field
- 2-3years of experience in media, advertising, or similar industry
- 2-3 years using SQL in a work environment
- 1-2 years of experience using Python or a similar programming language in a work environment
- 1-2 years of experience with a cloud data warehouse like Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Snowflake
- Experience with Git or a similar version control system
- Experience witha query engine likePresto, Hive, or Spark SQL
- Experience with BI or dashboard tools like Tableau, Looker, or Domo
- Experience with dbt (data build tool)

Salary Range
$95,000.00 - $115,000.00
A successful applicant27s actual base salary may vary based on factors such as individual27s skill sets, experience, training, education,licensure/certifications, and qualifications for the role.
