Are you passionate about analyzing air combat systems and searching for an opportunity to apply your modeling, simulation, and analysis background in an engaging, collegiate environment?

If so, we are looking for someone like you to join the Air Combat and Strike Mission Analysis Group!

As an Air-to-Air Modeling & Simulation Analyst you will...
  • Analyze the effectiveness and employment of airborne systems operating in complex environments using tools such as AFSIM.
  • Develop, evaluate, and analyze tactics and concepts of employment for ground breaking technologies such as air platforms, sensors, countermeasures, and weapons including manned-unmanned vehicles.
  • Work with a team of analysts who will benefit from your experience, and senior engineers with whom you will guide the direction of analysis.
  • Have the opportunity to present your work through briefings to both technical specialists and pivotal decision makers.
  • Have opportunities to engage in independent research projects that encourage creative solutions and reward independent initiative.

Qualifications

You will meet our minimum qualification for the job if you...
  • Have a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related area.
  • Have demonstrated excellence in conducting mission-level modeling, simulation, & analysis in the air-to-air domain with tools such as AFSIM or Brawler.
  • Are skilled in conducting quantitative analysis, rapidly learning new and exciting concepts.
  • Have strong scripting and programming skills with any of the following languages: Python, MATLAB, C/C++, or JAVA
  • Can work effectively in a highly collaborative environment and communicate sophisticated ideas directly with government civilians, military officers, and other contractors
  • Are able to obtain the associated required Special Access Program (SAP) level access.
  • Are able to obtain an Interim Secret level security clearance by your start date and can ultimately obtain a Top Secret level clearance. If selected, you will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship

  • Have demonstrated excellence leading a team performing mission-level modeling, simulation & analysis
