Job Summary
The Senior AI Business Systems Analyst will support enterprise AI, API, integration, and data initiatives, serving as a key liaison between business stakeholders, product teams, and developers. The role will translate business needs into scalable technical solutions while ensuring alignment with product strategy and operational best practices. The position requires strong business analysis experience, an understanding of AI-enabled solutions, and hands-on experience with Azure API Management, Azure Application Insights, enterprise integrations, Power BI, and SQL.
Key Responsibilities
• Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, technical, and operational requirements.
• Facilitate discussions between business stakeholders and technical teams to drive informed decision-making.
• Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and implementation-ready requirements.
• Support enterprise API and integration initiatives utilizing Azure API Management.
• Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and scalability.
• Help maintain reusable application and product templates while reducing reliance on one-off custom solutions.
• Partner with Product Owners, architects, and developers throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Support testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), release readiness, and change management activities.
• Leverage Azure Application Insights, Azure Monitor, and related monitoring tools to analyze application usage, operational trends, and business impact.
• Define requirements for Power BI dashboards and operational reporting.
• Support enterprise AI initiatives and help translate AI capabilities into business and technical requirements.
• Analyze and document requirements related to RAG and AI platforms.
• Collaborate with technical teams on API, data flow, integration, and AI-enabled solution requirements.
Required Qualifications
• 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or in a related role.
• Experience supporting enterprise applications, APIs, integrations, or digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience translating technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Hands-on experience with Azure API Management (APIM).
• Experience with Azure Application Insights (APM), Azure Monitor, or similar logging and telemetry tools.
• Strong understanding of APIs, REST APIs, JSON, system integrations, and data flows.
• Experience writing user stories, process flows, business requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong technical understanding of RAG and AI platforms.
• Experience with Power BI dashboards.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience supporting enterprise integrations and data initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting AI-enabled applications or AI product initiatives.
• Familiarity with Azure AI Foundry or cloud-based AI services.
• Experience creating requirements for Power BI dashboards and analytics.
• Prior software development or engineering experience.
• Experience with cloud platforms, automation, enterprise integrations, and data analytics.
Certifications
• CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or similar certification.
