Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle PL/SQL Developer with 10+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle database development, PL/SQL programming, performance tuning, and application support. The role will focus on designing and developing complex database solutions, optimizing SQL queries, developing stored procedures and packages, and collaborating closely with application and business teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and high-performing database solutions.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, test, and maintain complex Oracle PL/SQL programs, procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and database objects.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, joins, subqueries, views, and analytical queries.
• Perform SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning, including execution-plan analysis, indexing, query optimization, and database troubleshooting.
• Work with large-volume transactional and enterprise databases while ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Develop and maintain ETL and data-processing routines using PL/SQL and Oracle technologies.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable database solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement permanent fixes.
• Perform database design and data modeling, including development of tables, indexes, constraints, views, sequences, and other database objects.
• Develop data migration and data conversion scripts for application upgrades and system implementations.
• Collaborate with application developers, architects, QA teams, business analysts, and database administrators.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.
• Create unit tests and support integration, system, and production testing.
• Monitor application and database performance and recommend improvements.
• Prepare technical documentation for database processes, interfaces, and solutions.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and work effectively with distributed development teams.

Required Qualifications
• 10+ years of hands-on Oracle PL/SQL development experience.
• Strong expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
• Extensive experience developing stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, cursors, views, and materialized views.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture and relational database concepts.
• Experience with SQL performance tuning and optimization.
• Strong understanding of indexes, execution plans, partitioning, joins, and query optimization.
• Experience working with large-volume data and complex database environments.
• Strong debugging and production support skills.
• Experience with data modeling and database design.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and software development methodologies.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
