In this role, you will provide senior level mentorship in managing projects throughout the planning, building, procurement, construction, and start-up stages of the project lifecycle. You will serve as a trusted point of contact across project teams, helping shape and deliver outcomes that matter - on scope, on schedule, and with an unwavering commitment to safety.

What You Will Do:
  • Lead and coordinate development of complex, multi-scale projects through planning, risk assessment, and project sanction.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, and cost estimates through Gates 1 and 2, primarily for Gas Transmission Midstream projects.
  • Partner with Business Development, Project Planning, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to identify and develop efficient project solutions.
  • Collaborate across execution, engineering, operations, integrity, planning, and asset teams to advance project delivery.


Who You Are:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Construction, or Project Management, or a related construction or operational training and/or experience.
  • Six or more years of progressively responsible experience in engineering build and project management related to the transportation of gas and liquid hydrocarbons by pipeline. For those candidates that do not possess a university degree, and additional 3-years of experiences is required (total of 9+ years).
  • Continuous learning in business, economics, finance, and accounting, with strong problem-solving and prioritization skills.
  • Shown leadership, interpersonal, negotiation, and independent decision-making abilities in project team environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presenting to senior leadership.
  • Extensive experience in project cost estimating, risk and contingency analysis, scheduling, and project management software (MS Office, Visio, Project, Primavera).


Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Mental Requirements (Both Field & Office) include but are not limited to:

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.

Working Conditions:

  • Possibility of overnight business travel to the field. the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required and particular safety training depending on the construction site.
  • Stress levels can be above normal as project work involves tight schedules, is highly visible, and numerous activities are conducted concurrently.
