As a Senior Advisor, Operational Risk Management, you will play a key strategic role within the second line of defense, positively influencing practices and decision-making across the organization.
What you'll accomplish with us
As a Senior Advisor, Operational Risk Management, you'll be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:
• Contribute to the development, evolution, and implementation of the operational risk management framework across the organization.
• Support business sectors and corporate functions in the identification, assessment, management, and monitoring of operational risks, while acting as a strategic partner to ensure consistent and pragmatic application of practices.
• Participate in the deployment and continuous improvement of risk management practices, including training, awareness, and guidance for stakeholders.
• Produce analyses, indicators, and reports for governance bodies, perform targeted independent reviews, and ensure the quality and robustness of risk assessments and controls.
• Identify trends, emerging issues, and opportunities for improvement, contribute to the harmonization of practices, support third-party risk management initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams (procurement, IT, security, legal, and compliance), act as a risk management reference, and support second-line oversight activities.
What could accelerate your success in this role
We're looking for someone who:
• Holds a college diploma (DEC) or bachelor's degree in administration, risk management, finance, actuarial science, information technology, or a related field.
• Has 7 to 10 years of experience in operational risk management, audit, compliance, or a similar cross-functional role.
• Is known for their strong professional rigor and analytical skills.
• Stands out for their ability to influence and build trusted relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrates strong autonomy, sound judgment, and a keen sense of priorities.
• Has an intermediate level of English proficiency, as the role involves producing quarterly reports, preparing presentations, managing written and oral communications, and drafting or following up on procedures with English-speaking partners and collaborators on a daily basis.
