Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field and four (4) years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Seven years of relevant experience in a Healthcare or Academic setting.
  • Relevant experience within UT systems.


Job Summary:

Provides senior-level managerial oversight to a department or division regarding planning, fiscal activities, business operations, and/or administrative functions.

Job Duties:
  • Manages and maintains responsibility for the planning, development, fiscal activities and operation of business and administrative functions, including departmental or program operating policies and procedures.
  • Supervises the recruitment of all staff and support personnel.
  • Plans, develops, integrates, and manages all business and administrative support systems.
  • Prepares, justifies, and controls budgets.
  • Administers grant and contract management activities.
  • Manages space planning, renovation, and allocation.
  • Responsible for strategic and tactical planning.
  • Serves as chief departmental liaison with business, hospital, and academic administration.
  • Identifies appropriate internal controls for the department; provides mechanisms to monitor and enforce compliance.
  • Performs related duties as required.


Salary Range:

Actual salary commensurate with experience.

Work Schedule:

On-site, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, and as needed on occasion.
