Responsibilities

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join our SPS Supply Chain Finance & Accounting that is a portion of a $1B company that leads the orthotic & prosthetic markets by providing superior patient care, outcomes, services and value.   Our new best in class Alpharetta distribution center recently implemented Oracle’s Warehouse Management System and is about to continue to implement Oracle Cloud ERP.

 

The Sr. Accountant of Inventory will report to the Sr. Manager of Supply Chain Accounting.  This position will be responsible for our WMS to ERP reporting and various reporting from WMS for the Distribution Centers.  This position will work closely with procurement, IT, and our supply chain distribution center team.

 

This candidate needs to be a self-starter, hands-on, and detail oriented who is naturally curious, drives tasks to completion, and has a desire to make a real contribution to the future success of our company.  

Your Impact
  • Reporting on the Oracle Warehouse Management System (WMS) and the Trend Financial application
  • Support our Distribution Centers in their cycle counts, shipping, receiving and returns processes
  • Manage IT sprints and larger projects on system improvements to support the DC
  • Ensure SOX controls are completed
  • Work with our internal and external auditors
  • Support the inventory team with reconciliations and analytics
  • Provide support on ad-hoc projects as required
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5 years of financial experience in positions of increasing responsibility and scope aligning to essential functions
  • Mix of public accounting/internal audit and corporate experience preferred
  • 1-2 years accounting in the Supply Chain industry preferred
  • Project management experience preferred
