POSITION OVERVIEW

The Senior Accountant will be an integral part of our growing finance department, supporting key functions that ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. This individual will handle weekly payroll tasks, manage expenses through Rippling, assist with month-end and quarter-end reconciliations, and maintain accurate general ledger entries in QuickBooks.

We're looking for someone detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and familiar with fast-paced, multi-entity entrepreneurial environments-ideally within retail or multi-location service businesses.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees across multiple locations.
  • Coordinate with HR to ensure accurate and timely payroll adjustments.
  • Record and categorize expenses through our spend management tool.
  • Review and approve expense submissions for compliance with company policies.
  • Perform monthly and quarterly account reconciliations.
  • Prepare and post journal entries in QuickBooks Online.
  • Maintain clean and accurate GL coding across departments.
  • Manage rent payment calendar for all store locations.
  • Track and reconcile lease obligations and escalate discrepancies.
  • Assist with financial audits and data preparation.
  • Support fixed asset tracking, accruals, and other period-end tasks.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and real estate teams.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • 3-4 years of accounting experience; payroll, and multi-location experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Rippling (or similar platforms).
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Comfortable managing recurring schedules and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills.

The pay range for this role is:

75,000 - 90,000 USD per year (Corporate Office)
