  • Manage month end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements and maintain a system of account reconciliations and supporting schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and Standard Operating Policies (SOP).
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance reporting quality through effective financial systems and automation.
  • Manage Travel & Expense processes and related accounting ensuring compliance with Travel policy.
  • Maintain and evaluate general ledger activity to ensure correct transaction recording in accordance with SOP.
  • Assist with annual audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries.

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive Senior Accountant to join our growing, mission driven organization. In this fully remote role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and clarity of our financial operations. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, brings strong technical accounting skills, and is committed to delivering high-quality work that strengthens organizational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage month end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements and develop and maintain a system of account reconciliations and supporting schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and Standard Operating Policies (SOP).
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and enhance reporting quality through effective use of financial systems and automation.
  • Manage Travel & Expense processes and related accounting ensuring compliance with Travel policy.
  • Maintain and evaluate general ledger activity to ensure transactions are recorded correctly and in accordance with SOP.
  • Assist with annual audits (internal and external) by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries.
  • Work closely with Assistant Controller and outside tax advisors in preparing support schedules required for US and foreign tax returns.
  • Collaborate cross functionally with FP&A, Operations, and Leadership on financial matters and business decisions.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing clear, data driven financial insights.

Travel

Up to 10% travel, based on business needs. While our roles are 100% remote, we do get together a few times a year for up to one week. Employees are given ample notice and attendance is expected.
