ABOUT THE ROLE:

This Senior Accountant reports to the Controller and focuses on FP&A, general accounting and lease administration workstreams while ensuring GAAP and SEC compliance. The role requires strong collaboration with FP&A, and Corporate teams to deliver accurate financial reporting, meaningful reports/analytics and maintain internal controls. This highly visible position involves performing complex technical accounting analysis, interpreting financial data, and driving process improvements across global accounting operations.

WHAT YOU9LL DO:

  • Support Controller with quarterly forecasts, annual operating plan and long-range planunderstanding key financial drivers and variances, and providing decision support analysis, including communicating with business partners.
  • Ad-hoc variance analysis and support financial reporting initiatives
  • Supportmonth-end closeby preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Research and analyze transactions to ensure accuracy and resolve differences.
  • Support lease administration and lease accounting.
  • Ensure GAAP compliance,maintaininternalcontrolsanddrive process improvementsfor areas of responsibility.
  • Assistwith the preparation of quarterly and annual financial reporting.
  • Maintain effective internal controls,identifyrisks,and related control changes.
  • Support with interim, quarterly, and year-end auditprocesses,including responding to internal and external auditors asrequired.
  • Participateincompany projects and initiatives including systems implementation and testing.
  • Perform other duties asrequired.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring a minimum of three (3) days per week on-site, excluding training periods. Flexibility to increase in-office presence may be necessary based on business needs.

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP
  • Highly proficient PC skills, especially in Excel
  • CPA designation and public accounting experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills withthe abilityto work cross-functionally across all organizational levels.
  • Self-starter mentality with strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in teams.
  • Strong systems skills with experience in ERP, reporting tools, and large data set analysis.
  • Creative problem-solving approach withthe abilityto support organizational changes.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Financial, Hyperion, and systems implementation experience preferred.
