Job Description SummaryThe Senior Accountant will contribute to various aspects of Accounting, including the closing process and journal entry processing, budgeting, cost accounting, forecasting, analysis, account reconciliations, and various reporting and filing. This individual must ensure accuracy of financial statements by providing accurate accounting of transactions in area of responsibility in compliance with Sarbanes - Oxley (SOX) and PCC corporate policies. This position may lead or counsel the work of others.
Responsibilities- Ability to handle and coordinate various functions simultaneously.

- Self-starter working with a minimal amount of supervision.
- Able to take on new tasks and learn other functions to act as backup where necessary.
- Provide analysis and recommendations to management in decision making or other financial initiatives
- Monitor, analyze, and report on E&O inventory, interface with Production Control to resolve issues
- Participate and lead in quarterly audits of financial data and processes
- Maintain accurate balance sheet and income statement accounts including month-end closing entries, monthly reconciliations, analysis of results, and communication of deviations affecting financial results
- Develop and maintain accounting and cost systems in support of business operations
- Prepare analysis and communicate results in the areas of sales, cost of goods sold
- Set up of claim accruals and handle credit dispositions - reconcile to the ledger
- Manage Accounts Receivable transactions and lead the resolution of issues
- Check pending transactions for errors, notify IT as necessary
- Various budget reports and analysis of accounts as necessary

Education and Experience Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or business related field required, MBA preferred. Seven to nine years of relevant experience. Understanding of Microsoft Office and financial systems with Oracle experience preferred. Strong initiative, communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to quickly learn new tasks.

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $76,100 to $114,100 US Dollar (USD) Salaried based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1.5X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.
