Ornua is actively seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Ornua Family as we continue our growth trajectory. This position will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, supporting critical accounting processes, and providing financial insights that help drive business performance.

WHY THIS ROLE IS VALUABLE

As our Senior Staff Accountant, you will be an integral member of the Finance team, owning key accounting and reporting activities that support the financial health of the organization. Your work will directly contribute to accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, cash flow management, and effective business decision-making.

This role offers exposure to a broad range of accounting responsibilities, including financial reporting, consolidations, tax support, cash flow forecasting, audits, and special projects. You will have the opportunity to collaborate across the organization while helping drive continuous improvement in our financial processes and controls.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Qualifications
  • 2-3 years of post-qualification experience in a Staff Accountant or similar accounting role.
  • Strong technical accounting experience in financial reporting
  • Experience preparing journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong systems aptitude and ability to learn and work within ERP environments.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across functions


Desired Qualifications
  • Training experience with a leading public accounting or audit firm
  • CPA, ACA, or CIMA qualifications preferred
  • Experience supporting internal and external audit processes
  • Experience with tax compliance and reporting activities
  • Commercial finance, financial analysis, or financial modeling experience
  • Experience with cash flow forecasting and intercompany accounting
  • Experience working in Consumer-Packaged Goods, manufacturing, food, or global organization environment


PAY RANGE: $92,250 - $112,750

This range represents the overall market pay rate for candidates who meet the necessary qualifications and experience requirements for this role. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, education, and performance.
