Qualifications

• CPA preferred; bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 5 years' experience in accounting
• Construction industry experience, especially with General Contractors, preferred
• Strong financial acumen and analytical abilities
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on relationship-building
• Proactive, adaptable, and self-motivated
• Competent problem-solver with decision-making experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP accounting applications
• Experience managing and analyzing Work in Progress (WIP) schedules

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report on project performance and financial projections
• Assist in quarterly projection and annual budgeting processes
• Review overhead budget-to-actual variances and communicate with relevant personnel
• Support month-end, quarter-end, year-end close, and annual audit processes
• Ensure the timely completion of month-end close tasks such as reconciliations
• Assist in the proof of funding process for construction projects
• Promote a customer-friendly service approach in accounting and finance operations
• Identify improvements and efficiencies in current processes
• Conduct ad hoc special projects and reports as needed
