As part of our continued expansion, we're building out our Accounting department and are looking for another Senior Accountant to help elevate our financial infrastructure. This role is instrumental in supporting our next phase of development-offering the unique opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects, partner with leadership, and help drive smart, data-informed decisions. What you will do...As our
Senior Accountant, your success will be measured by your ability to:
- Lead the Financial Close Process
Ensure accurate and timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual closes. Review and correct balance sheet reconciliations and P&L statements. - Deliver Business Insights
Analyze business unit financials and provide insight into trends, profitability, and operational effectiveness. Share findings with leadership to guide decisions. - Meet with Business Leaders
Routinely meet with business-unit leadership to review financials, recommend changes to operations, and re-forecast plans to help achieve recommendations. - Support & Train Accounting Staff
Assist in mentoring team members to uphold high standards in reporting, process execution, and communication. - Develop and Improve Controls
Help design and implement internal controls, process documentation, and accounting policies to support scalable operations. - Own Payroll & Tax Support
Post payroll and HR-related journal entries; assist with tax schedules for monthly, quarterly, and annual filings. - Lead Special Projects
Manage and execute ad hoc financial projects in collaboration with the CFO, the Controller, and company leadership.

What experience you need...- Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required. Must include 12 upper-division credit hours in courses such as Intermediate Accounting I & II, Cost Accounting, and Auditing (Advanced Accounting and Taxation preferred). A Master's degree is a plus. - Experience:
Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience, with a strong preference for backgrounds in construction, distribution, or real estate. - Technical Skills:
Solid understanding of GAAP and the ability to research and apply complex accounting standards. Experience with multi-entity company structures is strongly preferred. - Analytical Ability:
Exceptional attention to detail coupled with reconciliation, research, and problem-solving skills. Able to conduct financial analysis and present actionable recommendations. - Communication & Collaboration:
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Able to train, guide, and collaborate effectively across departments. - Professionalism:
Highly dependable, deadline-driven, and able to manage competing priorities in a dynamic, growing business.
