What You'll Do- Financial Reporting: Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting activities, including consolidations and multi-currency revaluations.
- Compliance & Statements: Prepare financial statements, MD&A components, press release inputs, and regulatory compliance submissions.
- Reconciliations: Complete balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany entries, and review payment batches for accuracy.
- Analysis & Guidance: Provide accounting guidance to operational finance and support audits through working papers and analysis.
- Process Improvement: Review and enhance reporting processes, support control design/testing, and assist with ad-hoc finance initiatives.
What You Offer- Technical Expertise: CPA designation (or CFE completion), strong IFRS knowledge, and experience with foreign currency & consolidations.
- Education & Experience: Degree in business/accounting and 3+ years of audit or equivalent professional experience.
- Systems Skills: Advanced Microsoft Suite skills; experience with Oracle or enterprise financial systems is an asset.
- Analytical Strength: Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and accuracy under pressure.
- Collaboration: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a positive, team-oriented approach.
