Full Job Description
Senior Accountant - Intercompany

We are looking for an exceptional Senior Accountant to help manage Anduril's growing intercompany and intracompany accounting needs as the company prepares for a future potential IPO and drives operational excellence. The Accounting team owns the close, technical accounting, and reporting infrastructure behind one of the fastest-scaling companies in defense. This is a build seat more than a maintain seat: we are preparing for a future potential IPO, expanding rapidly, and managing increasingly complex intercompany and intracompany relationships, so you will help set the processes, systems, and controls this function runs on for years.

The ideal candidate will be able to support the hyper growth of our business and will therefore need to be comfortable and experienced moving at an incredibly fast pace. Come join us as we disrupt an entire industry and help take your career to the next level with a team that is charging towards changing the world of defense.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Intercompany & Intracompany Accounting: Process and reconcile intercompany and intracompany transactions across all Anduril entities and business units, ensuring balances are fully eliminated or properly allocated on a monthly basis.
  • Passdown & Allocation: Execute corporate cost passdowns, intracompany allocations, shared-service allocations, and management fee calculations, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with government contracting requirements.
  • Entity Management: Maintain and update the legal entity structure in the ERP, including charts of accounts, intercompany agreements, and elimination hierarchies for new entities.
  • Reporting & Disclosures: Prepare consolidation schedules, intercompany elimination entries, and related footnotes and disclosures to support financial reporting.
  • Reconciliations: Prepare financial reconciliations timely and be able to research and resolve variances as needed.
  • Systems & Process Improvement: Help implement new systems or improve efficiencies with current systems to support continued company and team growth.
  • Controls: Contribute to the control environment by establishing, improving, and maintaining operational processes over intercompany and intracompany accounting.
  • Mindset: No job too small mentality, be curious and helpful to others.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Intercompany & Consolidations: Experience with multi-entity intercompany accounting or consolidations is required.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Systems & Rigor: Highly detail oriented with strong experience in Excel, ERP systems, and US GAAP.
  • Prioritization: Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a high growth organization.
  • Execution & Strategic Vision: Able to get hands dirty to drive organizational change while also maintaining an ability to manage up against strategic priorities/reporting.
  • Eligibility: Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Education & Certifications: CPA (active or inactive) and/or MBA.
  • Industry Background: Prior experience in companies that are tech or advanced manufacturing.
