We’re looking for a passionate and curious Senior Accountant to join our team. What You’ll Do:

  • Prepare and review balance sheet account reconciliations and ensure that reconciling items are resolved timely. Identify ways to streamline and improve upon the reconciliation process.
  • Processing and controlling of fixed assets and CIP. Purchase through activation and all month end analysis and bank/cash reconciliations
  • Support month- end closing process including month-end accruals, journal entries, prepaid expenses
  • Gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger system
  • Monthly Financial Enrichments Account GL Movements (One Stream – Consolidation)  
  • Working with A/P staff as needed on full cycle processing (Monthly Logistics and Weekly Expense management Entries)
  • Intercompany transactions
  • Execute and review period-end close procedures. Provide technical accounting expertise and direction to business unit management teams during close cycle
  • Direct interface and main point of contact for business unit management teams assisting to collaborate on projects and resolve business challenges
  • Provide direct support during the interim and year-end external financial statement audit to fulfill all audit requests timely and act as a liaison with external auditors.
  • Assist with development of accounting support staff to achieve desired objectives of overall group.
  • Implement and maintain controls and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Related Field
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience
  • Solid foundation of accounting, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and current financial issues
  • Working knowledge and understanding of IFRS
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational, and decision-making skills
  • Proven ability to multi-task in a high volume, deadline driven environment, complete tasks in a timely manner, and follow-up on resolution of outstanding issues.
  • Ability to communicate financial information clearly and concisely and build strong relationships through use of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge and use of different ERP systems and Consolidation Software (SAP, IFS, Oracle, JDE, Hyperion, One Stream, etc), Microsoft Office applications, and very strong excel skills

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be $95,000 to $106,000. This is a salary exempt role. Base salary offered may vary depending on the individual’s skills, experience and competitive market value. Additional total rewards include discretionary annual bonus, comprehensive benefits to include Medical, Dental and Vision, short-term and long-term disability, company paid basic life insurance, 401k company match, generous paid time off and paid holiday, wellness and transportation benefits.
