DescriptionWhat You'll DoYou'll play a key role in helping our business operate smoothly and effectively. Your day-to-day may include:
- Supporting the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Maintaining the general ledger and assisting with accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and cash applications
- Preparing bank reconciliations, commission schedules, revenue reports, and work-in-process analyses
- Uploading subsidiary ledger activity into the corporate ledger and ensuring data accuracy and completeness
- Assisting with client billing and collaborating with the Collections team to monitor receivables and support collection efforts
- Supporting annual financial statement audits and internal control reviews
- Updating forecasts and contributing financial insights to support business planning and decision-making
- Identifying opportunities to improve accounting processes, strengthen controls, and enhance reporting efficiency
- Partnering with colleagues across Finance and Operations to deliver accurate, timely, and actionable information
- Performing ad hoc analyses and special projects as requested by management
What You'll BringWe know great team members come from all kinds of backgrounds. Some things we typically look for:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate accounting environment or professional services firm
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting principles
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with accounting systems; NetSuite experience is preferred
- Experience with month-end close, account reconciliations, and audit support
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- A proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence
