Full Job Description
The Role

As a Senior Account Supervisor, you will be responsible for developing and executing financial communications programs for our deep roster of financial and non-financial clients. Ideal candidates will come from a financial communications agency or have extensive in-house communications experience. The candidate must be fluent in the capital markets and possess a strong comfort level in counseling senior executives on financial communications-related matters and media relations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the creation of communications plans and goals, including development of both tactical and strategic elements


  • Proven ability to lead large projects and teams on sizable accounts


  • Creates, drives and executes strategic media relations programs


  • Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of clients' businesses and their missions, as well as their key stakeholders: employees, investors, regulators, media, vendors, partners and other businesses/organizations, etc., and will be able to impart this knowledge to account team members


  • Sets client program goals and manages against them


  • Possesses excellent written and verbal communications skills and the ability to delegate tactical assignments and accurately judge and edit work of others


  • Serve as daily client contact and as client lead


  • Oversees quality and operational performance of accounts, ensuring high-quality of work and deadline adherence


  • Manage and reconcile account budgets, processing invoices and reporting financial updates to senior account and client leadership.


  • Supervise staff by motivating, coaching, consistently providing feedback, holding them accountable and conducting their reviews


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Journalism, Communications, or a related field


  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in Communications Marketing and/or related fields, including agency or in-house communications roles


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in financial communications with a focus in private markets is preferred.


  • Strong media relations expertise, with established journalist relationships and a demonstrated ability to secure high-impact media coverage across trade and top tier outlets


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to develop strategic messaging and thought leadership content


  • Strong project management skills, with a proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven mindset


  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments, managing multiple priorities simultaneously


$110,000 - $150,000 per year

An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs.
