  • Assess and secure premium financing quotes as needed.
  • Create policy files in shared drives and distribute binders to clients.
  • Monitor and manage policy expiration dates, providing updates to the team.
  • Handle new client setup and document review in EPIC.

Full Job Description
The Senior Account Manager, Natural Resources (Oil & Gas) will assist the Account Executive and Producer with marketing and servicing of new and renewal business. They also will help coordinate with production team and insurance carriers to facilitate a successful client renewal while also managing administrative functions for assigned team.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Discuss renewal strategy meeting with A/E for both internally and with client
  • Prepare for renewal outputs:
    • Review certificate holder list and provide to client
    • Confirm manuscript certificates needed
    • Understand Auto ID Cards distribution for clients
    • Determine Work Comp Posting needs and how to distribute
  • Send quotes to client and obtain bind order as needed
  • Determine if Premium Financing is needed and obtain quotes
  • Create Policy file in shared drive once binders come in
  • Send binders to client with list of subjectivities, input into EPIC and send to CAC Binders for data collection
  • Complete invoices and send to client
  • Issue and distribute renewal outputs
  • Follow up with carriers for policies and brokers to ensure policies to have been checked
  • Send checked policies to client, place copies in EPIC and send to CAC Policies for data collection
  • Follow up with carrier if any endorsements are needed
  • Maintain shared drive of key documents (i.e policies, endorsements, invoices, Autos ID Cards, Certificates, Audits etc.)
  • Monitor expiration dates of all policies, including fees and provide to team on a monthly basis
  • Suspend for Audits and review against binders/agreements
  • Handle ad hoc requests for certificates, auto id cards, endorsements
  • New clients:
    • Set up in EPIC
    • Work with Brokers to obtain copies of policies from carriers
    • Request and review prior brokers Schedule of Insurance, recreate from CAC
    • Request and review Certificate copies and an Excel schedule, update as needed and import into CAC system
    • Request and review Auto ID Cards
  • Develop and maintain account handling instructions
  • Plan out the next year for renewals
  • Follow up with client for payment
  • Resolve accounting issues
  • Handle expense reporting or other administrative functions as needed for senior members of team
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 7 plus years of direct work experience with commercial oil & gas insurance required
  • State specific license is required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Ability to train other team members in Duties & Responsibilities of Account Manager role
  • Manage assigned duties with independent decision making authority
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail & time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products to include Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Salesforce, eCerts & EPIC experience required
