We are looking for a Senior Account Manager with experience working with OEMs; a leader with a deep knowledge and experience in medical device manufacturing as well as customer relationships. If you are a highly motivated individual interested in becoming a key player into the fast growing medical device sector, we want you on our team.

The successful candidate will take the challenge of joining a fast growing segment within Celestica, partnering with global leading Medical Device OEM's managing projects from design conception to manufacturing, offering full solutions to our global customers.

As Account Manager, you will...
  1. Support regional account/site strategies to support and enhance the global HT strategy execution while maximizing regional site performance.
  2. Understand the key market dynamics for the regional and global accounts to support forecasting and risk management while developing plans to maintain and/or grow the accounts, in collaboration with the respective CFT leaders/teams.
  3. Responsible for providing cross-functional leadership to develop and execute account plans for profitable growth.
  4. Develops and collaboratively shares the customer relationship activities with the CFT lead and/or site GM, including at an executive level; monitoring of customer satisfaction across all business elements.
  5. Support development, negotiation and enforcement of customer contracts.
  6. Directly engages with sales and business development to create and present insight-led customer proposals; performs market analysis and develops specific customer value propositions, including unsolicited approaches.
  7. Collaborates with HT Sales team to identify funnel opportunities for value accounts; represents GCBU strategies and interests to validate fit of new opportunities.
  8. Accountable for the regional and global financial P&L and balance sheet performance for assigned accounts.
  9. Supports three-year strategy and planning for regional markets and customers.


Knowledge/Skills/Competencies
• Broad knowledge of electro/mechanical medical device manufacturing environment, materials and processes
• Knowledge of ISO 13485 Medical Device Quality Management Systems and other medical device industry standards, regulations, and directives
• Excellent customer contact, negotiation and problem resolution skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of internal and external customers.
• In-depth knowledge of product pricing, contracts and contract negotiations.
• In-depth knowledge of the business issues associated with electronics manufacturing.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management.
• Engineering and operations knowledge to a depth where the candidate can interface between customer and Celestica engineering teams
• Good presentation, data management and computer skills (Excel & PPT).
• Ability to manage multiple, detailed projects to a successful end while working under tight time deadlines.
• This role interacts with multicultural workplaces. While not required, the ability to speak Spanish is a plus.

Physical Demands

  • Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
  • Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
  • Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.
  • Frequent overnight travel may be required.
  • Duties of this position may require working very long hours for months at a time.


Salary

The stated range includes Base Salary and target Short-Term Incentive (STI) compensation only. A comprehensive benefits package is offered in addition to this range.
