About the RoleOfferUp is looking for an experienced, bilingual (Spanish/English) Inside Sales Senior Account Executive to lead the charge across our Business Verticals. This role is pivotal in defining our offering for small to mid-size businesses that sell a physical product, such as auto dealerships, furniture stores, appliance retailers, electronics stores, pawn shops, and more. As well as selling a broad range of solutions built to help those businesses hit their marketing goals.
This is a role for a confident self-starter who's comfortable navigating uncharted territory and wants a real hand in shaping sales strategy for the whole company. We treat every Account Executive like the owner of their own small business: you run your territory, you own your pipeline start to finish, and you bring the hunger to get after it every single day. It's a grind and it's genuinely rewarding for the person who wants to build something.
What You'll Do- Own the full sales cycle: prospect, pitch, close, and onboard new customers
- Grow your revenue base from a mix of inbound leads and identifying and closing new business through cold outreach
- Bring a hunter mentality, proactively research and prospect new business in targeted regions and categories
- Build and manage a robust pipeline, and forecast new business closure rates and revenue booked
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Business Operations so learnings from the field shape OfferUp's overall direction
- Lead, track, and report on all prospecting and opportunity stage activity and results in Salesforce.com
- Work a hybrid schedule, in the office Tuesdays and Thursdays
You'll Thrive in This Role If You Have- A demonstrated track record of selling high-dollar marketing/advertising services over the phone
- Experience in a short sales cycle, one-call close experience is a big plus
- 3-5 years of Business Development, Inside Sales, or Account Executive experience with a tech company serving brick-and-mortar customers
- Full fluency in Spanish and English
- Competitive drive, optimism, and confidence
- Demonstrated proficiency in prospecting and hunting for new clients
- The ability to sell to busy, no-nonsense business owners while still building relationships built to last
- Resourcefulness and adaptability, you find creative solutions even when they're not "how it's done" in this space
- A leadership mindset, you treat your book of business like it's your own company
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Helpful, But Not Required- Knowledge of the automotive dealer industry
- Experience selling B2B
- Familiarity with the Challenger Sales Methodology
- Midmarket Experience
Compensation: This role has a base compensation of $96,655 + variable bonus OfferUp offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. Individual salaries within our ranges are determined through a variety of factors, including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. All roles will receive equity in OfferUp as part of their compensation, the amount of equity varying depending on the individual's level and experience.
Benefits (all US roles): In addition to our compensation package, this role is eligible to enroll in health insurance, healthcare savings and spending accounts, retirement savings benefits (401(k) plan with match), basic and voluntary life insurance, disability benefits, and paid time off for sick leave, family and/or medical leave, vacation, and 12 company holidays. In regard to vacation time, OfferUp has a flexible vacation policy, and, in general, full-time, exempt employees will be expected to take 3-5 weeks (15-30 days) of pre-planned vacation time per year. Vacation needs are flexible and will naturally vary from year to year based on individual circumstances and business needs. In regard to sick time, all full-time employees (exempt and non-exempt) will be granted 12 days (96 hours) of sick time per year (pro-rated if the start date is other than January 1).
