Full Job Description
WE ARE CURRENTLY HIRING A FULL TIME SENIOR ACCOUNTANT FOR OUR
LOCATION IN DOWNEY, CA


OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION
The Senior Accountant will help with financial statements, reports, inventory, AR and provide strategic guidance to Department Heads.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist in preparation of month end financial statements including cash flow.
  • Assist in preparation of expense variance explanations by department/store each month end.
  • Assist with preparation of revised forecast each month.
  • Help with Coordination of yearly budget for all departments/stores.
  • Assist with month end close including journal entries and account analysis.
  • Liaison for external auditors for mid-year review and year-end audit.
  • Prepare daily cash report and forecast for cash flow requirements.
  • Assist with sales tax and property tax filings.
  • Prepare monthly inventory and WIP valuation reports.
  • Assist with physical inventory reconciliation (twice a year).
  • Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE
EDUCATION and/or WORK EXPERIENCE
  • CPA with a minimum of 3 year's hands on experience in a company preferred; or a bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited four-year U.S. university with a minimum of 5 years hands on accounting experience.

PAY TRANSPARENCY
This position pays $90k annual base salary or commensurate with experience.
