Qualifications

• Certification as a Teacher of Students with Disabilities (Birth-2) or Special Education permanent certification
• Bilingual extension for bilingual cases (preferred)
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Experience in documenting compliance with regulations and standards for special education
• Effective communication skills with families and children

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide therapy to preschool-age children attending the CPSE program
• Collaborate with families and teams to develop individualized goals
• Educate families on intervention strategies for active participation
• Maintain necessary documentation to meet state and city regulations
• Conduct evaluations and write reports adhering to district standards
• Engage in ongoing training and supervision opportunities
• Create and manage a flexible schedule based on individual needs
