Security Specialist

Non-Union Position

NOTE:

Employees based at our Headquarters are required to work on-site a minimum of two days per week. Specific in-office days may vary by team and business needs. This hybrid schedule supports collaboration, connection, and engagement while also offering flexibility for remote work.

The Role:

The Access Control Specialist supports Corporate Security operations by administering physical security systems, managing access control programs, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company security requirements. This role is responsible for provisioning and auditing access, supporting security system operations, and contributing to a proactive, data-driven physical security program.

Day to Day:

  • Administer and support enterprise Security Management Systems including access control, intrusion detection, CCTV, and guest access systems.
  • Provision, modify, and revoke physical access for employees, contractors, and visitors in accordance with corporate policy.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot access control and surveillance issues across facilities.
  • Evaluate systems and processes for compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, TSA).
  • Analyze access data, identify trends or anomalies, and recommend improvements.
  • Coordinate and monitor contractors supporting security systems and infrastructure.
  • Provide training for users of CCTV and access control systems
  • Support installation, replacement, and upgrades of physical security systems.
  • Conduct site inspections to verify system functionality and policy adherence.
  • Identify deficiencies and support corrective action tracking.
  • Respond to and support investigation of security incidents.
  • Administer background investigations and maintain approved access lists.
  • Provide training and guidance on access control systems and procedures.
  • Maintain records, contracts, and support administrative security functions.

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience in security or related field
  • 2 or more years of experience in physical security or access control systems; 5 or more years with demonstrated depth of knowledge required for Level 3.
  • Knowledge of CCTV, access control, and security best practices
  • Ability to learn and be proficient in multiple CCTV and access control platforms
  • Demonstrated analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • Superb communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to create and present training to security and operational users of platformsor
  • High ethical standards and confidentiality

Base salary range: $64,250.00 - $86,350.00 (Level 2) or $74,800.00 - $102,600.00 (Level 3) per year, depending on qualifications

Annual Target Incentive: Level 2, 7.5% target
Level3, 7.5% target
Targets are calculated using eligible earnings during plan year participation. Payout, if earned, is based on company and individual performance for each plan year and may range from 0% - 200% of target. Targets are subject to change in subsequent plan years. Must be employed by September 30 in order to receive any prorated payout.
