Full Job Description
Qualifications:
  • BA or BS required; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CISSP, ISSAP, SABSA, TOGAF, CCSP) preferred.
  • 15+ years of relevant cybersecurity experience, with significant time in security architecture and customer facing roles.
  • Deep, hands on expertise designing enterprise security architectures across multiple domains, including identity and access, network and Zero Trust, cloud and hybrid, data protection, endpoint, and security operations.
  • Strong command of security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST CSF, NIST 800-207 Zero Trust, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, MITRE ATT&CK) and the ability to apply them to client architectures.
  • Strong success track record in discovery, shaping, designing, and closing key opportunities focused on technical and business outcomes, with creative architecture and competitive approaches.
  • Strong track record establishing and growing strategic client relationships quickly through expertise, point of view, and leading trends.
  • Experienced leading strategic, enterprise scale architecture programs across hybrid and multicloud environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to create and lead compelling architecture presentations and persuasively discuss strategy and design with client executives.
  • Brings a consultative, trusted advisor mindset to client and team discussions.


Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $190,00 to $240,000 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Security Solution Director to lead our Security Architecture practice. The Senior Director will be responsible for leading security principals and consultants in the design of integrated security architectures, partnering directly with clients from initial discovery and requirements definition through architecture design, roadmap, and validation. This role requires a strong leader with deep technical expertise across security architecture domains, proven client advisory experience, and the ability to translate complex business and risk requirements into clear, actionable security designs.

The role will focus on evolving and growing WWT's Security Architecture capabilities to improve WWT's market competitiveness, establishing trusted advisor relationships with client security and architecture leaders, and shaping integrated security solutions that align to customer business outcomes, risk posture, and regulatory requirements. The team's mission is to define and deliver reference architectures and customer specific security designs that are market relevant, technically rigorous, and able to be executed at scale across hybrid and multicloud environments.

This position will work in close partnership with Sales (e.g., Services Sales, GS&A, Account Managers), and complement peer Solutions teams to shape architecture led opportunities and expand security engagements in new and existing accounts. Additionally, the position will partner with our Management Consulting and Engineering Teams to ensure architecture designs are validated, implementable, and aligned to successful customer outcomes.

Essential Functions:
  • Serving as a trusted security architecture advisor to clients, shaping technical direction and earning the opportunity to expand engagements.
  • Producing high quality, integrated security architectures and reference designs that are technically sound and aligned to customer business and risk objectives.
  • Bringing industry, threat landscape, and emerging technology viewpoints to evolve WWT's security architecture approach and keep solutions market relevant and competitive.
  • Expanding the security architecture footprint across existing and new accounts, with growth in engagements that span multiple security domains.
  • Establishing trusting customer relationships and consistently meeting customer expectations through architecture excellence.
  • Viewed as a role model and technical leader to peers and team members, teaming across all Solution Leads, and showing up as One WWT across all teams.


Leads and Champions Security Architecture Strategy:
  • Sets the direction and evolves WWT's security architecture strategy, reference architectures, and design standards to stay market relevant and competitive, and positions WWT as a strategic security partner externally. Partners with GS&A and other critical Sales Leaders to ensure robust, well architected solutions and successful rollouts.
  • Champions architecture led qualification and engagement, guiding clients from current state assessment through target state security architecture and roadmap.
  • Establishes strategic relationships with client security and architecture leaders (e.g., CISO, Chief Security Architect, Enterprise Architect) to grow and expand engagements.
  • Identifies emerging threats, technologies, and market themes (e.g., Zero Trust, cloud and AI security, post quantum readiness) and evolves the architecture approach accordingly.
  • Sets the direction on architecture talent and capability needs; serves as a role model to attract, develop, and retain senior security architects.


Leads Customer Engagement and Security Architecture Design
  • Leads customer engagements, conducting discovery sessions, architecture workshops, and executive briefings to capture business, technical, and risk requirements.
  • Drives the design of integrated security architectures across domains such as network, cyber resilience, zero trust, cloud and hybrid, and security operations that meet client expectations and fit their environment.
  • Identifies and orchestrates the right security architects and cross solution resources, translating requirements into cohesive architecture designs and proposals.
  • Works collaboratively across solution architects and other leads to ensure a quality, market competitive, and implementable architecture is delivered.
  • Develops architecture artifacts, roadmaps, and decision documents that clearly communicate design rationale and tradeoffs to technical and executive audiences.
  • Reviews the architecture and solution package with SC&E Delivery leads and critical Sales team members to ensure technical quality, feasibility, and customer success.
