In addition to platform responsibilities, this individual will play a key supporting role in our vulnerability management and business continuity/disaster recovery (BCDR) programs, helping ensure our technology environment remains secure, resilient, and well-governed.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of the ServiceNow ITOM module, including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and CMDB design/configuration.
• Define ITOM implementation roadmap, project milestones, and success metrics in partnership with IT leadership.
• Configure, customize, and maintain ServiceNow to align with business requirements and ITIL best practices.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and primary point of contact for day-to-day ServiceNow platform administration, troubleshooting, and enhancements.
• Partner with stakeholders to scope, plan, and support the implementation of future ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM enhancements, ITAM, SecOps, HRSD, or other modules as the platform expands).
• Maintain platform health, including instance upgrades, patching, integrations, and data integrity.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including configuration guides, process workflows, and end-user training materials.
• Evaluate and recommend ServiceNow best practices, new features, and platform optimizations.

Vulnerability Management Support
• Assist in the coordination and tracking of vulnerability management activities, including scanning cadences, remediation tracking, and reporting.
• Support integration of vulnerability data into ServiceNow (e.g., Vulnerability Response module) to streamline remediation workflows.
• Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to prioritize and track remediation efforts against SLAs.

Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery (BCDR) Support
• Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of BCDR plans, documentation, and testing schedules.
• Assist in coordinating disaster recovery tabletop exercises and post-exercise reporting.
• Help ensure BCDR-related data, assets, and dependencies are accurately reflected within the ServiceNow CMDB.

Qualifications

Required
• 3+ years of hands-on experience administering or implementing ServiceNow, with direct experience in ITOM (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, or CMDB).
• Strong understanding of ITIL framework and IT service management principles.
• Experience with ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide API) and platform configuration (business rules, workflows, UI policies, ACLs).
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects independently, including scoping, planning, and stakeholder communication.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, accessible language for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing technology environment.
• Preferred
• ServiceNow certifications (CSA, ITOM Fundamentals, CIS-ITOM, or related).
• Prior experience supporting vulnerability management programs or tools (e.g., Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7).
• Familiarity with business continuity/disaster recovery planning and testing.
• Experience with additional ServiceNow modules (ITAM, SecOps, HRSD, etc.).
