Job DescriptionYou will be the Security Representative Staff for the Industrial Security team. Our team is responsible for providing multi-disciplined security support, managing special access programs, and ensuring compliance with security policies.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Security Representative Staff you will be responsible for overseeing contractor security operations, safeguarding classified information, and partnering with program management to develop innovative security solutions.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Act as Contractor Special Security Officer and Contractor SAP Security Officer for complex programs.
- Manage personnel, physical, and technical security measures.
- Oversee classification management and OPSEC requirements.
- Conduct inspections and ensure readiness for audits.
- Provide security education and subcontractor oversight.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Top Secret clearance to start.
Basic Qualifications- Knowledge and experience implementing the 32 Code of Federal Regulation Part 117, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), DoD 5205.07 Special Access Program (SAP) Security Manuals, and Intelligence Community Directives (ICD).
- Must have a Subject Matter Expert (SME) level of understanding of security regulations, including prior experience drafting and implementing Standard Operating Procedures, Security Plans, and Operation Documents.
- Candidate must be a self-driven and results-oriented individual capable of effectively working multiple tasks concurrently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communications, interpersonal relations, and analytical skills are required.
- Final Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and a background investigation performed within the last five years.
Desired skills- Experience using JADE, SIMS, and DISS.
- Experience in multiple operating environments including Collateral, Special Access Programs (SAP), and Sensitive Compartmentalized Information.
- Lead and implement change in a collaborative and inclusive manner, have strong interpersonal skills and a positive can-do attitude.
- Work collaboratively with other entities and manage projects and subordinate assignments simultaneously within very time-sensitive environments.
- The ability to articulate and present intelligent, decisive, and risk-managed security recommendations, based on limited and or conflicting information, is also essential, as is the ability to thrive and build relationships both within the corporation and externally with our government customers and industry partners.
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 3 years of professional experience; or 1 year of professional experience with a related Master's degree.
- Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
Work Schedule InformationLockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay StatementPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,400 - $150,650. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Premium Pay StatementPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $98,300 - $170,315. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
